Lourinhã
The area of Lourinhã has been inhabited since prehistoric times, with its rich history on display through life-sized dinosaur replicas and the Lourinhã GEAL Museum, which exhibits artifacts from the Paleolithic, Neolithic, and Chalcolithic periods. The popular Dinopark also offers an engaging exploration of prehistoric times amid beautiful natural surroundings.
Today, Lourinhã is a calm and relaxing town, perfect for unwinding by the beach. It is the location of our apartments, providing convenient access to the nearby shoreline and the serene atmosphere of this charming coastal community.
Óbidos
Óbidos, known as one of the “Wonders of Portugal,” is a historic town that beautifully preserves the charm of its medieval architecture and ancient traditions. The town’s centerpiece is the Óbidos Castle, a Roman-era fortress that has served as a crucial defensive stronghold throughout history. Caldas da Rainha
Caldas da Rainha is a city that prides itself on being both a therapeutic and artistic haven, recognized as a creative city under the protection of UNESCO. Its name is steeped in history, originating from a legendary tale in which Queen D. Leonor, suffering from a long-standing wound, stopped here on her way to Batalha and discovered the miraculous healing properties of the local thermal waters. Grateful for her recovery, she ordered the construction of a bath, establishing the city’s long-standing reputation as a center for wellness. Dating back to the 15th century, Caldas da Rainha still exudes the charm of its storied past.
